ABSTRACT

Anti-doping education was carried out mainly with international athletes. Most athletes who undergo doping control are elite athletes competing at national or international level, so many athletes do not think that doping control is applicable to them. However, to understand that doping is part of the rules of the sport, anti-doping education should be implemented by all athletes. Understanding and adhering to anti-doping rules is important for all athletes, regardless of their competitive level and age. In today's world, an approach based on health promotion in amateur sports is needed. This approach is based on the provision of general anti-doping education at all levels. However, the actual level of knowledge about anti-doping among all athletes is not well known at this time. Recent events in the world, in particular the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, have significantly influenced the anti-doping program, which requires the improvement and modernization of the existing system.
